Event Setup & Management
Creating, editing and running your events

Click Event Listing in the top navigation or your Dashboard. Fill in the event title, description, date & time, location type (physical/online), category, and upload a cover image. Set your ticket type (free or paid) and capacity. Review the preview and click Publish — your event goes live immediately.

Yes. Go to Dashboard → My Events → Manage. You can edit the title, description, cover image, and timing freely. Changing ticket prices after sales have started requires contacting support as it affects existing bookings.

Go to Dashboard → Event Reports → View Stats. The page shows total registrations, check-in status, and attendee details. Export the full list as a CSV using the Export button.

Go to My Events → Manage → Cancel Event. All registered attendees are automatically notified via email. For postponements, edit the event date instead of cancelling — attendees receive a date-change notification. Paid ticket holders are refunded per your cancellation policy.

No fixed limit for standard accounts. High-volume accounts with paid ticket sales may be asked to complete organiser verification. Contact us for a verified badge and priority listing.

Ticketing & Capacity
Setting up ticket types, pricing, and limits

Yes. When creating or editing your event, go to the Tickets section and click Add Ticket Type. You can create Early Bird, VIP, General Admission, or custom tiers — each with its own price, quantity, and sale window.

Each ticket type has a Sale Start and Sale End date. Set these in the ticket configuration panel. Once the sale ends, the ticket type is automatically hidden from your event page.

Use the Eventsadditions Organiser App (iOS & Android) to scan QR codes at the door. The app shows attendee name, ticket type, and check-in status in real time. You can also manually search by Booking ID.

Yes. Go to My Events → Manage → Promo Codes. Create percentage or fixed-amount discount codes with usage limits and expiry dates. Share them with your audience to boost registrations.

Payouts & Earnings
Receiving payments and managing your revenue

Earnings are transferred to your registered bank account within 3–5 business days after your event date. You can view your payout schedule in Dashboard → Earn & Payout. Ensure your bank details are verified before the event to avoid delays.

Eventsadditions charges a platform fee of 5% per paid ticket plus payment gateway charges (typically 2%). Free events have zero platform fees. The breakdown is shown clearly during event setup and on your payout statement.

Go to Dashboard → Earn & Payout → Bank Details. Enter your account number, IFSC code, and account holder name. Verification takes up to 24 hours. You must have a verified account before payouts can be processed.

If you cancel a paid event, all attendees are automatically refunded within 5–7 business days. Any already-disbursed payouts must be returned to Eventsadditions within 14 days. Platform fees are also refunded if the cancellation is before the event date.

Booking & Tickets
Finding, reserving and accessing your tickets

Find your event using Search or Browse. Click the event card, then click Book Now. Select your ticket type and quantity, complete payment, and your ticket is emailed instantly with a QR code. It also appears in Booking History → Tickets.

Go to My Account → Booking History → Tickets and click View Tickets. Use the Download button to save a PDF copy. Tickets include a unique QR code for scanning at the venue — works offline once downloaded.

Cancellation and transfer policies are set by each organiser. Check the event page under Cancellation Policy. If transfers are allowed, visit Booking History, select the ticket, and tap Transfer Ticket. Enter the recipient's email to transfer instantly.

Increase your screen brightness and ensure the full QR code is visible. Remove screen protector glare if needed. If it still fails, show your Booking ID (BK-XXXXXXXX) to venue staff — they can manually verify entry using the organiser portal.

Yes — free tickets are treated identically to paid tickets. You'll receive a confirmation email with booking ID and QR code, and your ticket appears under Booking History → Tickets immediately after registration.

Payments & Refunds
Billing, payment methods, and refund timelines

We accept: Credit & Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking (all major Indian banks), and Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay). All payments are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption.

Once approved: UPI & Wallets: 1–2 business days. Debit/Credit cards: 5–7 business days. Net Banking: 3–5 business days. You'll receive an email when the refund is initiated. If not received after 7 days, contact support.

Wait 10–15 minutes and check email (including spam). Check Booking History — if the booking appears there, your ticket is safe. If not, the transaction likely failed and will auto-refund within 5–7 days. Raise a support ticket for faster help.

A small platform convenience fee may apply at checkout — it's shown clearly before you confirm. The fee varies by event and ticket price. Free events always have zero fees.

Account & Profile
Sign in, settings, and account management

On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link within 2 minutes (expires in 30 mins). Check spam if not received, or request a new one.

Yes! A single Eventsadditions account gives you both roles. Use Dashboard for organiser tools and Booking History for your attendee tickets — all from one login.

Yes. Eventsadditions uses 256-bit encryption and never sells your data to third parties. Export or delete your data anytime from Settings → Privacy. See our Privacy Policy.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, booking history, and saved events. It cannot be undone. Cancel any active events before deleting.
